Luang Prabang, the ancient capital of Luang Prabang Province in Northern Laos, lies in a valley at the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Khan rivers. Inhabited for thousands of years, it was the royal capital of the country until 1975. It’s known for its many Buddhist temples, including the gilded Wat Xieng Thong, dating to the 16th century, and Wat Mai, once the residence of the head of Laotian Buddhism.
08:00: Welcome to Luang Prabang. This is the World Heritage city of Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, you will meet the tour guide and transfer to your hotel.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.
05:45: An optional the early morning to observe an Arm-Giving, hundreds of monks walking alongside walk to collect rice and food from laymen. Then we visit Fresh Morning Market at Prakham village.
09:00: After breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide and take you to the National Museum - a large museum in the center of town. Next, you'll visit Wat Visoun with its impressive stupa and the temple of Wat Aham
12:00: Lunch at local restaurant.
13:00: After visiting Wat Xieng Thong, then you will climb 355 steps to reach the top of Mount Phousi. There are much rest stops on the way up. Halfway there, you'll see the temple of Wat Tham Phousi and at the top, you'll visit the gilded stupa. Your ride offers breathtaking views of the city. There is a great opportunity to watch the sunset from a great vantage point if the weather is right.
18:00 After you descend the mountain; you will be taken to visit the Street Night Market, where there are many opportunities to buy souvenirs.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.
08:00: After breakfast, meet your guide and start your journey along the Mekong River, along the riverbank is a beautiful landscape of peaceful villages. We will visit Ban Xang Hai village, which is famous for its traditional rice wine distillation and paper making.
Next, visit the Pak Ou cave temple, where the mysterious story of the Buddhist monk and thousands of large and small Buddha statues is carefully plated with gold.
On the return journey, the car stops at Ban Zang Khong village, a village famous for silk weaving and where artisans make delicate silk materials to serve the last King of the Royal Family.
16:00: Return to your hotel. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
08:00 After breakfast, Car and guide pick you up for the journey towards the suburbs with about 30 km through the fields and villages to the famous waterfall called Kuang Si, where you can freely struggle, Swimming in the clear blue water or walking through the forest up to the top of the waterfall.
On the way back, we will stop at the work of the Black Hmong, where the indigenous people make traditional crafts and also have souvenirs made by people from the neighboring tribes to sell to them. Tourists pass by here.
12:00: Return to town and transfer you to the airport for your departure flight to your next destination. Finish the trip.
